Existing-Provider Coordination

Coordinate complete evidence around the MSP and enclave you already have

Coordinate inherited, provider-produced, and organization-owned CMMC evidence without replacing an MSP, MSSP, CSP, or managed enclave.

CRM/SRM responsibilities converted into recurring outputs

Inherited is not the same as invisible

When an ESP implements an objective, the organization still needs a clear responsibility story and adequate evidence that the enterprise or provider implements it. A provider statement, service description, CRM, system configuration, report, or other support may be relevant depending on the objective and assessment plan.

The provider becomes an evidence owner

Gridex schedules provider outputs just like internal owner outputs. The difference is the escalation path and the contract terms controlling what the provider must supply.

  • Record which objectives are inherited, shared, or organization-owned.
  • Identify the exact provider output that supports each responsibility.
  • Track report periods, version dates, service changes, and unresolved exceptions.
  • Escalate missing provider evidence to the contract owner before an assessment deadline.

Keep one complete view across both sides

The contractor should not have one “vendor evidence” spreadsheet and a separate internal tracker with no reconciliation. Gridex maintains one factual evidence map while leaving source artifacts in their approved systems.

Facts, not verdicts

Gridex does not validate that the provider’s technology is correctly implemented. We record and coordinate the evidence provided; qualified reviewers and assessors determine adequacy.

Questions buyers ask

Frequently asked questions

Does a managed enclave cover every CMMC objective?

No. Coverage depends on the service, scope, and responsibility allocation. Organization-owned people, process, governance, and physical evidence remains.

Will Gridex log in to the MSP’s tools?

Access is scoped case by case. The default model asks the responsible provider to produce evidence into client-approved systems instead of making Gridex a technical operator.
